We really should of had this beast from the start things would of been a bit easier.
Finally got the tube for the wishbones! We're still waiting to get the upper threaded tubes front and back so we cracked on with the lower wishbones.
We started off trying to make the books jig but decided it was over complicated. We made our own again sort of.
The fronts were quite straight forward just made sure the bush spacing was correct and the length from the top plate to the bush tubes was same as the book.
Te rear ones were same really apart from the center bar had a hellish angle but a bit of grinding sorted that out.
Had time to get the steering column made too. We used the sierra connector bits a piece of hex bar and a piece of thick walled tube to join it all up. Works really well and misses the front upright by about 1-2cm also tried the engine mount on and it clears that by miles.
This is the bar i mentioned in an earlier post that we removed to allow our gear stick to fit nicely. Need to make a new piece a bit further up to connect the tunnel for a bit of support.
