Bit of an update

Engine mounts done fully welded ready for powder coating.

Found a quick shift kit on a website for £170!!! it looked simple enough so we made our own for pretty much nowt and it works great. Made two brackets to hold the support bar with a joint for the top of the shifter and used the original selector arm part at the bottom. We had to cut the bar out of the chassis in the end when we made the gearbox mounts because it got in the way (pics to follow)

Bought a new master cylinder as the one from the sierra was no good. This one is from a Mk1 fiesta which never had a servo on in the first place so should hopefully feel a bit nicer when braking.

Made a push rod using a bolt and a clevis pin.

New tool had a quick go on the engine to tart it up a bit and it works quite well for £25 anyway.
